Russell’s eyes grow wide with excitement. He runs around the room with the book in his hands yelling, “DOES THIS MEAN WE SHOULD TRAVEL TO GREECE?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?! OH BOY. WE ARE GOING TO NEED A LOT OF BALLOONS!”
“Well there are other ways to get there.” He isn’t quite sure what the boy means about balloons, but is quite impressed by his enthusiasm. “Alright, what do you know about Greece and its mythology? Specifically about Olympus?”
“Well..” Russell sits back down trying to remember everything he’s read about Olympus from kids books. “There’s the Big Three, Zeus and Poseidon and Hades. And there are twelve major gods and a lot more minor gods. AAaaaaand I know a lot about a guy named Hercules… He’s a hero!!” Russell steals a glance at Milo. “Is that all right?”
Russell’s eyes widen. “Really?? You’d do that?? You’d help me?!?!” Russell looks up at Milo with a new kind of admiration in his eyes. He then flips through a couple pages of the book and stops on a page with a picture of Olympus. “What about THIS place?!”
“That’s Olympus where the Ancient Greek Gods were said to reside. The mountain itself though is nothing new and there are indeed temples at its base. Although…. there’s always the possibility that there is more than meets the eye to that place. Certainly worth a look.”
